A good example of what's wrong with my country.

No need to be ashamed, every country has its oddities. While the USA have a problem with sexual content, my country (Germany) has about the same problem with violence.

A few years ago, there was a game called "Giants - Citizen Kabuto" (does anyone remember?) which illustrated this phenomenon in a pretty entertaining manner.

The game was a third person-shooter and featured a mermaid as a playable character. In the German version, the mermaid was topless, but the enemies' blood was green to make the fights seem less violent. The American version had red blood, but the mermaid had to wear a bra.

Only players in the UK got to enjoy both the red blood *and* the topless mermaid. Lucky you!
