Red's Letter to Mother

I couldn't find anything about this anywhere so I thought I'd post it here.

I ordered the "Pebumbra Soundtrack - Special Edition" from The Sound of Fiction and the booklet in front had a letter inside from Red to her mother from his first day in the mine. Have you seen this before?

The date on the letter says November 1970. Overture happened in 2001(?) so its from about three decades ago.
