Good program to create music?

Audacity is the only free tool i've heared of... There was something else I use, but it's not really for creating music, it's more for editing and recording it... You can have a look if you want, just search 'Reaper' in google.

With reaper you'll probably need to be able to play an instrument, unless you can make strange noises into the mic, then edit them heavily to make it sound ambient

But saying that - Rapture's using Garage band, and that's not too different to Reaper, so maybe it will work! Good Luck
