And about custom stories, no particular suggestion, but you can always check the more popular custom stories and try them out, then after that get to the other ones

And finally, I don't know any other horror game other than amnesia and penumbra (I only played amnesia though), but from what I hear, you could try F.E.A.R. or silent hill maybe?

The only problem with F.E.A.R. is that I have already played it once... Horror games loose some of their bite after the first playthrough. You loose surprise.

I have never played Silent Hill 1 or 2.... that is defiantly an idea.

I am very open to mods as well! Mods are great because they are shorter which is great for Lets Plays.
I have heard there are some really good LH2 mods that are scary... just not sure which ones to check out.
