Sounds good from the description, but only 2-3 hours of game play? kind of a big downside.

Yes. That is very short.

I dunno if you've just never played a custom story before or what but 2-3 hours is a really fucking long custom story. Most are only 30 minutes to an hour long. You can't expect people to be making mods the size of the original game.

Besides, I've said this many times before and I'll say it again, it's not about how long a game or mod is, it's about what it accomplishes in the time it takes.

I agree with you I shouldn't really be comparing it to average games. I am just used to most games (well from modern company's putting out 8+ hour games - quality games anyway) being long. Now that I think about it Amnesia was only like a 6 hour game? maybe. The Penumbra games (as a whole) were epic and very long which is one of the reasons I like them a lot.

I forget that Custom Storys are made by one person sometimes.
