I wonder why people here disagree that pride is a bad thing. Anybody who can tell me?

Have you ever sought a job? Sometimes it's a good idea to sell yourself if you want to make it in your life. Even if you're not actually proud of yourself.

Selling yourself has nothing to do with pride.
