Not entirely true, it's not supported by integrated graphics but it will definitely run on some, I can attest to that. My old laptop with an integrated card (intel hd graphics 4000) ran amnesia just fine on low graphics; it might be worth just downloading the free demo from steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/57300/) and see if it'll run. Won't take longer than 20 minutes.

As far as a new gpu, which might not be a bad idea anyway just for quality's sake: looking at the specs on your computer, it has a compatible mobo (pcie x16 slot) so a 660 ti will fit, BUT your psu wattage is a little low (250W). You definitely want a lot of clean power for a good gpu. There's also the question of whether or not the GPU would physically fit inside the computer case; you'd have to take a look at the dimensions on the gpu and measure inside your case.

As far as installing a gpu yourself, it's really not that hard at all. I went from knowing literally nothing about building pcs to building a $1,800 gaming/CAD rig just by researching online a little. It's not much harder than putting together Legos, and the GPU is one of the easiest installations you can do on a PC.

If you want more sources for advice, I'd highly suggest throwing up a post on the Tom's Hardware forums (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/). There's a ton of great, helpful people over there who know a ton more about computer hardware and building PCs than I do. People put up threads every minute asking for advice, and they all seem to be answered.

Well yes, I have tested it. I have a disk copy and it said that the program could not be run due to the lack of a graphics card or something. I believe it was Fatal Error: Renderor #0 or something. I think that now my PC is just too small for any good enough graphics card, so I think I just need a new computer all together...

Yes, the MSI GT 640 has 17cm length and 11cm height.
And only 50W power consumption.

So should I get this graphic card then? That computer that you linked earlier is the spitten-image of my computer, so I think they are one and the same. I plan to open up the mother-board and do some measuring in the graphics card slot. Will this graphic card fit and be able to run Amnesia? Also, this website appears to be in another country. I live in America, so would I still be able to buy it? Forgive me, I just glanced over the website

@bluel0bster I remember that too... Thanks.

This is the problem of all the Macs, (except for Mac Pro)... upgrading GPU and CPU is almost impossible.
Luckly I've got a 2012 MacBook Air with an Intel HD 4000 graphic chip that is better than the GeForce 9400.

Thinking of selling all these stuff and buy a used Mac Pro with a decent GPU and a faster CPU.

UPDATE: Oh my god! We've got a release date and minimal requirements:
  • Windows Vista, OS X 10.6.8, Major Linux Distribution from 2010.
  • Mid-range NVIDIA GeForce 3x0 / ATI Radeon HD 5x00. Integrated Intel HD Graphics should work
  • but is not supported; problems are generally solved with a driver update.
  • 2.0 Ghz core i5 CPU or equivalent.
  • 2 GB RAM.
  • 5 GB Free hard disk space.

Do you think Windows 7 would work for A Machine for Pigs?

Have we come to the conclusion that my computer is too small for any graphics card? I need to hear the cold hard truth ha-ha, that I might just need to get a better computer.
