RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 3

I will continue my monologue of plot conspiracies because droog kindly encouraged me Wink

I attached 3 images to this post. One is a cropped image of the cover art pig. One is a cropped image of altar painting in the “chapel” (taken from the first teaser video). And the last is an image of a Mayan priest. There certainly are more authentic pics of a Mayan priests available, but this has all the elements in one picture.

The cover art pig (mask?) seems to have Mayan style paintings on it (not my original observation). It has a symbol on it’s forehead which looks like an orb. Underneath it there is a heart symbol. The whole symbol is quite minimalistic, so it’s possible that the heart also has a meaning. Why is it raining on something that looks like floor paneling inside a house? Is it just for mood or does it have a meaning?

The altar glass is very interesting. There is a humanoid character which is either a were-pig or a person with a pig mask. Infront of the character is something that looks like a slayed pig. The character is holding an orb (edit: droog noticed that it might infact be a heart). The right hand painting looks like a factory. The pig-character has bracelets, somekind of a necklace and a certain type of robe/loincloth, which is longer in the center.

Then the Mayan priest. He has bracelets, a big necklace (there are even more similar samples available) and a loincloth which is longer in the center. Animal masks were a great part of Mayan culture (this priest seems to have an owl hat). The priest is even holding a heart in his hand. One type of human sacrifice was that the priest carved the heart of the living person right out of the chest of the sacrificial victim and the priest held the beating heart in his hand.

Just some observations.
