Interesting tweets. A little disappointed he didn't comment on the game's 'scare level' though. To be honest we haven't had much focus from anywhere put on how scary the game actually is, more on the story than anything else.

Which is fine if they want to keep it a surprise, but it's still a little disconcerting to me.

Why disconcerting? The game is a survival horror, and has the Amnesia title. The scary part is a given, it's how the horror and the story interwove that makes it far more interesting than just Boo!

I said that because it's been a long time since we had any information on how AMFP would bring the fear, or even any reference towards the game being scary at all. Yes, the Amnesia label would lead one to assume that, but that aspect of the game has been distinctly left out of focus for a while now, instead almost entirely focused on gameplay changes and the story.

Which isn't to say I'm worried it won't be scary at all, just that I was getting a niggling feeling this Amnesia would not have such a focus on scaring the player as much as the original did.
