SOMA: blind & no commentary

Let's Player(s)' Name(s): Fortigurn.

About Yourself: Australian technical writer and photographer living in Taiwan. I am a long term player of Frictional's games, having played the Penumbra series, as well as A:TDD (which was revolutionary), and A:AMFP (which was brilliant).

Commentary Type: I'm making blind let's plays, with no commentary. I have previously done a little of Alice: Madness Returns and a lot of Dishonored, but I didn't do the complete games. Now I'm doing a complete let's play of SOMA, blind and without commentary.

Microphone only or Facecam+Mic: None, my let's play videos have no commentary.

Videos: My SOMA videos.

Page: My Youtube channel is here. I do a lot of volunteer work with local charity organizations and with the indigenous community here in Taiwan, so a lot of my videos cover social welfare, social movements, and charity and volunteer activities.

Additional Info: My let's plays are the same kind I like to watch; blind, with no commentary. Playing them blind gives people an experience of the game which is authentically unaware, uncontrived, explorative, and experimental. I don't edit the footage to achieve an effect, or to erase errors; people see exactly what happened in my first run through, mistakes and all (and I've already made several).

Playing them without commentary also helps maintain that sense of exploration, with viewers able to concentrate on interpreting the events for themselves instead of having me interpret for them, or distract them from the gameplay.
