Or arguably, every time you unplug the omni-tool, Catherine -does- die, at least by certain definitions of death. It's just that Catherine's point of view on such metaphysical matters is such that she really just isn't bothered by it (partly leading up to why she didn't seem to be too crazy having been loaded into a robotic body).
