Illumination not showing up at all

Do you have a box light set up for the general brightness of your map? Because that is essential

you can kinda see that in his image, and even in another test of mine I did with a fully dark faded boxlight, the illumination on my enemy still showed up, in fact even more visibly due to the contrast. I have however not worked with the Jiang yet.
