Question about lighting

I've noticed in a few maps, such as Abduction, the room is dark, but not completely dark. It has that night time feel to the room. I was wondering if someone could help me figure how to get that effect in one of my maps. I've tried looking through the forums for the answer, but can't seem to find one.

RE: Question about lighting

A box light that covers the entire area would do the trick.

RE: Question about lighting

Well, when I use the big box light, it just light everything up. Is there a way to tone the light down to where it's still dark, but not pitch black is what I guess I'm trying to ask. Haha

Each light can have its color adjusted. The color is normally labeled as "diffuse."
