Create new entity
I want to start working on a new custom story but to do so, I need a new entity. I found the model in .3ds and I've been told that amnesia entities have their models in .dae so I've found a converter. Now with the model editor I import the .dae file but only a point appears, i can't see the 3d model...!
Can someone help me?
How can I make the 3d model appear in the model editor of amnesia? (I also have the textures, but don't how to implement them.)
Could someone tell how to do or do it for me? (In the second case I would include that person's name on the credits if he/she likes)
I would really appreciate, because it's essential to my custom story. And in case non of the options works, alternately advise me of a better way to convert .3ds to .dae. (I've used fbx converter 2006.)

RE: Create new entity
I don't think the converter works. I'm sorry. A free option would be blender, but I'm unaware of if it has the capability to handle .3ds.

It can import .3ds objects, but there's no guarantee that it will do it successfully.

If the scene shows nothing when there's supposed to be something after importing, that means the import was unsuccessful.

If the scene shows nothing when there's supposed to be something after importing, that means the import was unsuccessful. I've found the problem! It wasn't visible because it didn't have texture, the import was successful, either with fbx converter 2006 or blender. I already have someone who can apply the textures so problem solved
