Phonograph in the study?

I thought the phonographes are first time avaiable in Justine, but did one of you find the phonograph in the study?
It's not a custom story or a mod, it's the original game.
I never recognize that.

It was in earlier versions of the game, but is now removed. It is a message from the girl that Daniel killed.

Oh in which version it was removed?
Why they removed such a good hidden secret?
I love it to find out more and more, when a game have some secrets. I see no reason to remove it, it also was a good story element.

I believe I also saw that phonograph but it said that it didn't have any roll to play so I thought I had to go look for a roll but I never found one. Not quite sure though.

That's from Portal ARG. Just before Justine expansion released, nothing to do with main storyline.
