Primitives - Tile Offset or World Coords?

Hello again! I'm just curious about using tile offset or World Coords when making ceilings & floors. I have up untill now used the Tile offset to optimize and tile ceilings & floors so they fit eachother. Then I was curious what the "Allign To World Coords" checkbox was, so I ticked it.

The first thing I thought was "OMG! This is so awesome! All those wasted hours of tileing!".

My question is.. Is this a good method for making the ceilings & floors, or will something bug out for others etc?
Thanks. Smile

I think the question better asked is: How do you want your map to look like? You shouldn't have to worry if it'll mess up for others, as that is unlikely.

So basically, I will only need the other option if I would like to make a floor fit perfectly with square tiles so not half a tile will be outside right?

Your perfectionism goes that far, eh? Most people don't worry about that, since room (environment) decorations (e.g. furniture, decals, lighting, etc) cover up any undesired details anyway. Unless you want your map to look empty, then don't worry about it. Plus, i've only seen people complain about "clipping" issues when playing custom stories, never about half a tile going through a wall.

Yeah, in some cases, it does. ^^
But thanks for clearing that out for me. It will make some of the things ALOT easier and saves me time.
