FRAPS problem

I have a problem while recording with FRAPS...

It's not only Amnesia, but with every OpenGL game, whenever I record it with FRAPS, the gameplay always turns out blue in playback on anything (Youtube, Sony Vegas, Media Player, Quicktime, etc.). I don't know why it does this, and would appreciate help.

It also doesn't record sound (No matter what I record)

RE: FRAPS problem

My advice would be to try different video recording software. I use Bandicam for my videos and they come out in high quality. As for your problem, I don't know what to say. I haven't had any problem with fraps other than it being slow on my cpu.

RE: FRAPS problem

If you still want to use Fraps then I can help you for your sound problems.

I record my sound not through Fraps but through Audacity. It allows me to quickly remove any noise I don't want without having to convert to the files to support software etc.

Ah. I never thought of recording the in-game sound using Audacity... and since FRAPS records my mic, I think it would all work out in the end Tongue

Thanks for the tip - +rep

Also if you like to try another recording program, in this case free, try MSI Afterburner.

Actually, you should use Fraps to record everything except the microphone sounds. Those should be recorded in Audacity, i had some problems with sync using the program.
