I don't really think this will blow anyone's minds, but I checked Wesley Tack's website and he's updated with several in-game shots. They're all shots seen in the trailer, some from a slightly different perspective as seen from the trailer, I guess this can suit for now despite the lack of AMFP news. Warning: Lotsa images.

Hm, looks like they lowered the overall brightness a bit since the trailer was created. Shame its only the already known locations though.

Well it's probably going to be something about the aforementioned horrible dreams oswald's having while he's sick. (Oh how I'm looking forward to some delightfully disturbing imagery here! Tongue)
It would sure start the game with a bang if they went that route. On the other hand, if the horror-meter is already very high at the start of the game, theres not much it can do to heighten the fear later on, is there?
I also think, dreams or not, you'll probably be able to safely explore his house for a bit at the beginning. To set up his character, maybe learn more about him and his family by looking at his belongings, photos, books whatever... all while hearing the faint sound of the machinery below you, slowly getting louder the closer you move to the cellar door. Smile It would give a nice contrast to the darker environments later on if the game started in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of his no doubt decadently furnished home.

I also just noticed, that the outside environments kinda remind me of the movie Sweeney Todd, with all the smoking industrial chimneys and the dark alleys...

Gorgeous modeling work right there, now I really wish to know if the engines lighting has been updated from HPL2 because that shit looks BAWMBING.

So I hope that during all this extra time they acquired to make the game meet expectations, they will change some of AFMP's TDD models so they wouldn't take so much from the prequel.

The biggest thing is the castlebase textures, I would be very disappointed if the same ones are used. Frankly they are ugly and make the stone look horrible.
