requiem ending

i know that there are two endings to requiem, one when you hit the "ENTER" button, and red kills you, and the second when you enter the door and get back on the ship.
i've watched it on youtube and knew what to do, but when i try to open the door for the good ending, it wont budge.
i also loaded earlier saves, but i just can't have the good ending.

You need to download a patch to get the "good" end. It seems to be still available at Frictional Games main page.
