I could say that that Dragon age and Mass effect is the same universe, that's the same level of legitimacy. There's no resemblance.
 You sure about that?

A launch DLC sharing the same armor style is not really a valid point if you ask me. Also that the video game dragon age would be featured in Mass Effect (as a video game) doesn't make it valid either. By that logic, the Shmup from Penumbra is clearly set in the same game universe, it doesn't make sense.

And to further support my point, Mass Effect is set in our universe while Dragon age is set in a totally fictional world.

oh my shit yes i was completely serious dont take the joke irony is not a thing

Ok, just to make it clear, I agree with you wholeheartedly. With the exception of gameplay (which doesn't even matter from a story perspective), there are no similarities between Penumbra and Amnesia, so even though it's always possible it's very unlikely that they are indeed set in the same universe.

Irony on the internet is guaranteed to be misinterpreted.

I knew the article was a joke, but it's hard to know if someone is serious or not about things like this. Especially considering I have seen and talked to people who take these kind of things for its words.

I should have figured it would be misinterpreted.
