There's bound to be an older topic about this. You should search the forum before you post.

RE: Scariest monster encounter?
I guess the scariest monster encounter was the moment in the beginning of the cells (just when the elevator broke down) and I walked up the first stairs u find and there it came. I could still hear my heard bouncing one minute after.

RE: Scariest monster encounter?
My scariest one is in the archives. I had just pretty much finished the level, and for some reason I walked back to where the ceiling had collapsed, just to look at the other side you know. The monster must have spawned RIGHT NEXT to me, because I heard a noise, turned around and THERE IT WAS. Half a second later poof. It happened so fast I just sort of froze for a half minute afterwards.

RE: Scariest monster encounter?
Every encounter.
The Kraenk was horrifying, but not the worst (though I had many pauses when playing that part). The Choir was one hellhole, I could hear it coming for me, but not having any idea from where, and when I finally saw where it came from, it was too late. Also, once it was coming for me, I managed to hide, and it began patrolling past me, right in front om my nose. Horrifying, I tell ya. And when I finally got away from it, it changed its patrolling path. I found a way better hiding place, certain I'd be safe, just to have it randomly go right where I was, and stab me in the back. Because of that, the Choir is to me the scariest map of TDD. Also, the encounters in the Storage were so nerve-wracking. Especially when you're running for your life from the grunt downstairs, only to end up in the claws of the one upstairs. Had a slight heart-attack right there.
If you could see yourself through someone else's eyes would you be proud of what you see?
