Nintendo Horror Castle not working?

when i downloaded it, its just a rar file which will not play
i've placed it where its supposed to
Computer
-programs
--steam
---steamapps
----common
-----Amnesia
------custom stories
but unles i'm mistaken i cant play it with just a Rar file
can anyone tell me what ive done wrong?

Extract the folder from the .rar file into the custom stories folder.

Also, make sure that you don't make it "a folder in a folder", which can sometimes happen with some methods of extracting with RAR. Make it look something like custom stories/Castle Horror (Name of CS)/ (custom_story_settings is in here)
