Can't start amnesia?

Please help, when i try to launch the game i get the black box come up with an error saying exception_access_violation in module aticfx32.dll although when i try now is just says it's not working and the black box says gathering info but doesn't, thanks.

1. What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit?

2. Is it a laptop or a desktop? If a laptop, what model?

3. Attach us the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.

maybe you need to update graphics card drivers too. if youve done that already, it might be your computer that doesnt have good enough specs. i used to have a compaq laptop, and it didnt function due to the fact that i just didnt have sufficient specs to play. make sure you check the specs again, but if that doesnt help the problem, im lost :/
