Making Custom Stories on Mac.

Hello there guys. I just installed HPL2 Editor Suite and I can't seem to figure out how to save custom stories I am working. I understand all the tools just fine, but saving and then eventually playing them to judge the aspects of it from a gameplay viewpoint is impossible for me to figure out. If anyone could walk me through how to do everything that would me very much appreciated.
