Mac Issues Re: Custom Stories
As a Mac user I was experiencing the same difficulties that others have mentioned on here, viz. the inability to access custom stories in game. A reason for this, that has been overlooked by many of the people posting on this forum is that Mac's text editor saves files as .txt, even if you nominate a different suffix. Thus, if you were to save a file custom_story_settings.cfg, it would actually save as custom_story_settings.cfg.txt, and would therefore not work.
Mac users will need software that can save as any sort of file they desire, such as Komodo Edit. Once this is done the stories are accessible.

RE: Mac Issues Re: Custom Stories
To change the file extension on the files for mac, just right click the file, select "get info" then go to "Name & extension" and there you can change the file type
