game crashes after chemical room

ok i got the special thing in the chemical lab and now i ran from the 2 guys banging on the door and now i walk out of the chemical room and it crashes is there some kind of patch or what do i do?

I have same problem
Downloaded patch but does not make any difference
Any other ideas?

Reinstall the game and patch it up again.

Tried reinstall and re-patch but no difference
Tried going back to earlier save and not putting chemicals in machine before going back to chemical room but game crashes when trying to load next section

Do you have boxed version or downloaded version?

The patch only works for the boxed version. If you have downloaded the game from GamersGate then use their download program to patch.
