Coming Up With Ideas

I come up with my ideas by looking at something or watching something and then thinking "What if I take this and make it really fucked up" and then i write it an example would be a short story i wrote called "The Nightmare" in which it touches upon slowly going insane. if you see something interesting or completey strange do something with that

Ideas just simply arise as I make areas. Whenever almost any idea rises up, even if it's very hard to script, I tackle it. I check scripts from original Amnesia and figure it out, and usually it turns out great.

It can help writing your ideas down, by the way. If they're for your story, it is sometimes hard remembering it all. And I can tell you, from personal experience, that the feel - when you know you've forgotten something great you were about to do - is one of the least wanted one's I've experienced.
