In the armoury

So I'm in the armory and I've just gotten the saw, and this zombie comes into the room. I've been hiding for 5 minutes, will the zombie ever leave, or do I need to do something in particular to get rid of him?

Can you maybe upload a screenshot? I don't remember that there was a zombie at this point :/

Well you can try to just run away from him and leave the armory?!

I am also stuck with a creature after getting the saw. Were you sucessful in outrunning it? It's either that or go back to an earlier save. Will I need the saw later?

Just get the saw, wait for the creature to enter and then run past him to some safe place.
