Ok. You asked for criticism. so criticism you'll get!
I personally loved what you did in the front page's screenshots. the lighting was good and the particle systems fit perfectly. but the same i can not say from last 3 screens. I personally did not like what you did whit the tree and the "decorative plant life" it looks off and somewhat random, You could have done something interesting whit plants growing inside the castle or whatever we are seeing. but you did not fully developed that concept.
my final statement: it still needs some work on it.

I'd replace those candles with the no light version of them (hard to tell if those already are the no light version or not, but it doesn't look like it to me at least) and then use a mix of one or two pointlights with a few spotlights to make the light they give off more interesting. I've found that the default floor candle model gives off very washed out yellowish white light, which can be good in small doses, but when you have many grouped together it can start to look ugly. It'll give you a lot more control over the way the light is cast and make it much more visually appealing.

I will remake much of the patio level, and I was thinking about changing the lantern so it only casts half the amount of light.

RE: WIP: The Man Machine
Looks nice. I have been curious for a while as to if you based the second screenshot off an area in library of alexandria?
