1) Evidently you're unaware of just how little I really care about anything. Water on plastic, friend.
2) How do you know how long he worked on it? Granted, probably not as long as you, but he still put effort into it.
3) As far as I've seen, Deviantart has a plethora of silly people, much like youtube, facebook, or any other heavily populated website.
4) I don't have as much distaste for pony artwork as you apparently do.
5) He DID ask if he could use it, and you agreed.

In conclusion, getting upset over this is kind of silly. As stated before, shrug it off and move on.

Depends. Yes the pony bothers me because if you look at deviant art. A home site for thousands of talanted artworkers. but is now being filled whit MLP all over the place and seeing those "artworks" (if they can even be called like that...) being more popular than original works.

but to fully answers your question I would still mind if someone used my work (whit my authorization) and became even more popular than my own.
