I mean come on

"When the others leave for the night, the last mortician begins to fondle the corpses. He quickly moves to the corpse of a young woman who died in a car crash, tearing her clothes off and mutilating her body. He then mounts her and rapes her corpse while taking pictures with a camera and timer. He brings her heart back home to his dog for food."

that is so overly try-hard it's not even funny

There's a difference between reading this 'laughable and funny' description and watching the movie

Honestly I can't take any of these ultra-violent movies seriously anyways, most of the ones I've seen I ended up laughing at or just thought were stupid. The only horror factor in those movies is directors trying to out-gore in the most un-politically correct way possible and it usually just ends up coming off so ridiculously try-hard it's humorous. Literally the only movie like that I actually took seriously and was actually disturbed by was Eden Lake, cause it actually had more of a story past some meaningless garbage set up that's just supposed to be as br00tal as possible. That's a fantastic movie btw, highly recommended to anyone who's a fan of horror, but definitely stay away from it if you have like any problem with gore.

I saw Eden Lake back in 2008 and I still have it in my collection, the idea for the movie was good, the punks attacking a mature couple.

I also recommend HIGH TENSION (2003) which also has a story and it's violent.

Oh and you really should watch GENESIS , the little story and the ending will amaze the shit out of you.

If you're really still uncertain about it the reason I even watched that movie was cause FG said it was one of their favorite horror movies ever in their AMA so you know it has to be good.

Oh well I don't see why this movie is one of their favorite because it has nothing to do with Frictional's ideas.
I was expecting something else like Bram Stoker's Dracula lol or something that involves castles and creepy atmosphere
