Development Debug Mode - Mac

Can someone help me with setting up debug mode for Mac? I've watched guides but can't find any that seem to work for me.

Same as the other operating systems but the files are located at ~/Library/Application Support/Frictional Games/Amnesia/

Yeah. I've found the correct file, but it does not have the same formatting/contents as in the videos. I've tried adding what was missing but that doesn't seem to work

Don't use TextEdit to edit the code, that'll just ruin the format. Use something like TextWrangler.
