From looking at behavior of people online, PS3 owners and Xbox 360 owners, majority seem to side with PS4.
However, since going back to college and talking to some friends recently about it who haven't been keeping up much with the news on the console wars... Most of them still say they will buy an Xbox One because its an Xbox and that they think it will be better because more people will own them rather than PS4.
Up until realizing that not everyone would have been paying much attention to the console wars, I thought PS4 would dominate this generation but a lot of dedicated Xbox fans will be staying with Xbox and even if they aren't dedicated, they'd have to be uneducated to pick it. Ooh look a rhyme!

Who's fault is it that people are really stupid enough not to pay attention to what companies do to them?
If you blindly follow one without ever even weighing what the consoles actually offer, then I think it's not company's fault.
Current generation, I liked Xbox 360 over the PS3.
Except PS3 offered blu-ray and free multiplayer, which were good things and hats off to Sony for that and boo to Microsoft.
However, this generation, I will be favoring Sony because they offer me more bang for the buck and don't force me to do anything I don't want.
I find it kind of depressing that the presentation sony gave at e3 was considered crushing to microsoft, when literally all they did was say that their console had features that were standard for the last generation of consoles
shows how bad the current state of console gaming really is right now
