Added Fetal abduction.

It's the kind of thing which might seem normal in the world of hamsters and cuckoos, but it's a tad weird when it's a human.

Also added:

Michael Larson
The man who won big on Press Your Luck by memorizing the pseudo-random patterns of the game board. Click here to watch a documentary about the story.

Charles Ingram
A British man who cheated his way to winning the top prize on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. Click here to watch the subsequent documentary about the scam.

Bumpiest bump ever. Blush

Last night while talking with Paddy I told him about this occasion when I watched my dad killing a chicken by cutting off its head; the chicken wouldn't stay still and it managed to escape, and started running around headless for what seemed like an eternity (it was probably less than a minute though).
I was only 5 or 6 years old, and although I don't think I felt particularly shocked by it (more like completely bewildered), it's something I'll never be able to remove from my memory.

Anyway: then he asked me if I had ever heard of Mike the Headless Chicken... So I looked it up and, holy crap...

Thanks for that list, there are quite a few interesting articles in there I didn't know yet, e.g. the Somerton man mystery (Taman Shud Case).

Another unsolved, more recent case I stumbled upon recently: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecil_Hotel_(Los_Angeles). The Wikipedia article does not contain much information but the case got quite some press coverage and there's the footage of a surveillance camera (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TjVBpyTeZM).

Added your suggestion Chrysler, and also added these:

Kobe child murders | More grisly kid-on-kid crime.
List of animals with fraudulent diplomas | This is one of my favourite Wikipedia articles.

Updated the URL/name of "Girl A" to "Sasebo Slashing".
