RE: The one-week Environment #1 (Join!)
I was kinda expecting something like this soon, i don't know why.
And i like it.
But Acies, how about you make it competitive and the winner may explain later how he achieved every effect and stuff, and upload his map to share with everybody.
Because if we share techniques and such, before the TBA, i fear every entry will look the same.
And btw, how's your mod going? If i may ask. ^^

Also, people will be more willing to "learn" if you implement it towards your final product (practise practically) rather than looking at something after you have finished your own take on it (just reading about it).
On the matter of everything looking the same I believe there are several ways of having something look good ~ in the end there will be slight variations to everyone's map.
Mod is slowly progressing :]

Hmm, I actually might do this if I have time. I need a break from academy-themed maps or I'll run out of inspiration :p If not, I'll be in the one after this for sure.
Also, for anyone who doesn't know: You can animate the water gobos on spotlights by changing the animation type to "loop", then changing the frame time to something like 0.6 I figured that might be important in a water-themed map - although most of you definitely know this already :p

RE: The one-week Environment #1 (Join!)
Do you guys have any good websites for inspiration? I've run a little low on it.
