Hey! Dear moderators, is there a reason why any of you couldn't just open that Fanbase Subforum? What's the reason for voting? Aren't moderators already a part of Frictional team at some point of view?

An admin needs to do that not us moderators, and the voting is going on because all of us moderators and frictional could not decide upon this, thus there is a vote going on.
