Rain being a douche
So I have rain outside my study here.
Now if I want to see it from another angle
Rain: "NOPE. You can't see me".
Anybody got a solution here?

RE: Rain being a douche
Could it be possible that the fog hid the rain? I don't see anything else that could cause this... or the particle system could be optimized so you had to be near to see it, I don't really know...

The fog cannot be hiding it. It's at a specific point that I'm unable to see it.
If I have the rain go through the ceiling, I can only see it if I face away from the windows.
I've set A to 500 so it should be easy to see. It's not just hard to see. It's literally gone.

It should be the exact same as the one you have. ps_water_rain.ps

RE: Rain being a douche
I've also wrestled with this. I gave up after a couple hours of re-positioning the ps.

I've used rain before, where it was a good guy rain, not disappearing at any point.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

What is the properties that you edited in the Level Editor to the Particle?
"Veni, vidi, vici."
"I came, I saw, I conquered."

RE: Rain being a douche
Well to make it more clear on the picture i changed the Alpha to 500 or something. Changing it back didn't help.
I think I also unchecked the fade when close to the ps
Nothing else is edited

RE: Rain being a douche
Then you delete the particle system and don't care about it!! Just kidding... (or do I? No... bad joke Kullin...)
Well my solution to this would be do select the particles, hit CTRL+D and then turn it spin it around 180. (Don't think it will work but try!) :p
If that don't work, backup you files and reinstall the game!
