Installing Amnesia full mods causing issues with Amnesia Dark Descent?

I noticed something today. I uninstalled my Amnesia game and then reinstalled it but this time I did NOT install my full mods like White Night. I just put my regular custom stories back in. Now, the intro screen pops right up instantly. When I had my full mods installed I would have to wait on a black screen for a long time until the intro screen popped up. Also, when I play my custom stories it really seems like they play better now with no frame rate issues. Could installing full mods like White Night mess with the original Amnesia Dark Descent game in any way that would cause slow down issues?

This awnser is YES!
Yes, they could mess with Original files!
White night is one that has been installed GOOD by Tanshadar!
But, i've seen myself, there are some FC mods that change the actual game.cfg rand other importend files { main menu for example } .
SO, be carefull when installing mods.
IFC{ isolated full conversions } Like Mental memorial will NEVER be able to change files from the Original game, because the config files and game files etc, are INSIDE the MOD itself.
So, when installing an IFC you will never have problems with overwritten files.

Yeah, and I have had full mods replace the Amnesia menu screen with the title of the mod before too. There are so many good custom stories out there. I'm just going to stick with with custom stories. There is also no proper way to uninstall full mods. With custom stories you can just remove one folder to uninstall.

That's 1 way you can do.
The other is ask people on teh forum first before installing one.
Some of the FC mods are amazing and very good!
So, if i was you, i should ask the guys on this forum first.. Idea?
you will miss a lot of cool mods your way.
