Level Editor Stops Responding whilst editing

So if I use my Level Editor to edit my map, it crashes. A lot. When mapping too!

It's so fucking annoying! My map is now virtually un-playable.

Details, man. We need more information to why, where, when it crashes and possibly a copy of your map.

Why:
I have no clue at all.

Where:
Any part in my map when I am editing.

When:
Any time in my map when I am editing.

NOTE:
It happens all the time. Even with FG maps and other CS maps.

Try deleting your HPL2 folder in documents. Then it will set all the settings back to product standart.
If that is not enough, you could also try getting a new LevelEditor.exe and leveleditor.pdb

Bump. It's gone but it came back. I kind of deleted the HPL2 folder a lot. Nearly 50% when I want to start editing.

Now it's really broken. I deleted it and guess what? No matter what, the results are the same. I load my map, load it and it froze.

Does it crash while you're editing your map, or while loading it? Do you get the Crash Report thingy?

I'm pretty sure that the LevelEditor.log will allow us to know the problem: Post it here, please Smile

It's located in Documents/HPL2/ (in windows, I have no clue where it is in other OS though)

It shouldn't be a problem.. Unless you still have the files you shouldn't. You should check the first post of that topic to make sure.
