Loading Screen image goes bad!!!

So I made this image for a loading screen for my custom story! which is this one

and when I made it to load as a loading screen of my custom story, it becomes like this when it gets a loading screen.

why does the image become like that? Is it because of the image size, the image size is great and it's exactly the size of amnesia's loading screen images. I took the pic with fraps

It might be the format. What format are you using? PNG? You might wanna try converting it to .tga or .dds although .jpg is what was originally used so that should work.

It could still be the issue. Perhaps Fraps created a strangely formatted image.

I might consider this if I get the issue again, thanks ^^. I had a lot of pictures in the same format working fine, though (it was .png).

It's a JPG, maybe it is fraps that is causing this problem, is there any other program which I can use to capture screenshots in game in HD? and does it matter what size the image should be? What did you sue to take screenshots of your in game daortir?

You can just do a print screen, then paste and edit it in an image editor (like Photoshop or just Gimp). The resolution of the image should be somewhat low, because a bigger one may cut off at the edges of the screen in-game.

Did you save it as a JPEG? Is that also matching in your script?

RE: Loading Screen image goes bad!!!

For me, changing the size to 700x392 (the loading original screens had this resolution) was a solution, and the file format should be .jpg. See it that helps

I hate my life, but seriously why isn't this working?
