Again HELP needed

I Downloaded the demo of Penumbra: Overture ep1. and so far it has been the greatest game I've ever played.

The thing is that I get down the hatch and take the hammer and other stuff and use the pipe to open the gate on the ground. This part was easy.

Then there comes this cave and as I walk forward a bit there comes map of the whole cave and the tunnel goes to right and left.

At left there's some crates I'm unable to get over and on the right there COMES A FREAKING DOG! (Really got me at the first time :'S) I just cant see any way to get rid of it. I've tryed to hammer it, throw rocks at it and tryed to run, but nothing works. I maged to climb on top of some crates but then nothing...

Please help me!

That's the end of the demo. If you want to get rid of it, buy the game. It's worth it.

Are you serious? Two rooms and thats the whole demo?! Not even given a taste of other creepy creatures?! Poor demo if thats it...

That's right. The demo of Overture is shortest what i've ever seen! So i bought the game very soon. Buy the game and you'll be satisfied!
