New silent hill game coming

putting a extra s in the silent hill name is a enough to worry me but I gotta say, I'm interested.

I think it's a bigger world in this game. Don't quote me on this, since I've never played any of the Silent hill games, but I guess it will play out in the same places that all the other Silent hill games were played in, hence the name 'Silents hills.

I am excited and intrigued by the new 'Silent Hills'.

Hideo Kojima is a legend in the industry and Guillermo Del Toro, well he's very respected for his work. Norman Reedus was unexpected though, fantastic marketing though getting the combination of Kojima, Del Toro, Reedus and the Silent Hill franchise name together for a GAME. I have a feeling this game is gonna grab a fucktonne of attention because of that.

I've never played Silent Hill, and everyone says it's the best. Can someone, in quick terms, and without spoiling, tell me how the plot is?

The first game is about a guy searching for his daughter. They are on vacation in Silent Hill when fog hits the town and everyone disappears.

Second game is about a guy with repressed memories who receives a letter from his dead wife telling him to come to Silent Hill. Everything he sees in town, mainly the monsters, are symbolic of his memories.

Third game continues from the first. A cult is in Silent Hill and wants to summon some demon god. The town is consumed by an Otherworld (also in the 1st game) that turns all the environments to blood and rust.

These are the only good games in the series. Try the second, if anything.
