Moving mouse along Z axis in 3D view

Is there a way to move the mouse along the Z axis on the 3D view when placing items?

Would make filling book shelves and such so much easier than dropping the item on the floor and them manually dragging it up.

Look at the bottom toolbar in your Level Editor. Next to the magnet icon you can find a button with the letters XZ. Click it until you can find what you like.
