HPL MFP NPC's and models not compatible

I've been wondering for quite some time now on why the Amnesia: Machine for Pigs Static Objects and Entities don't work. Is there a reason why you didn't make it compatible with the current editor? Just curious.

Did you delete the msh and anm files inside the folders?

Does that work? I have not tried that.

Yes that should do the trick, try searching for anm or msh files in those 2 folders and delete them!

Does that work for the NPC'S too? Or just the Static Objects and other entities?

RE: HPL MFP NPC's and models not compatible

Hello!

I'll point you towards this thread: https://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-23378.html
This details how to use the Machine For Pigs assets in an Amnesia: The Dark Descent environment, including what Badcatz stated above, deleting the .msh and .anm files. Anything you copy over are "compatiable" with the current editors, that is to say, may actually turn on their sides when placed or not even load at all in the actual game.

The models/NPCs need to be resaved using the new model editor to be used, which is included in the 131111 .zip file in the first post of the above thread, which also details instructions on how to the set up the environment.

It is now a locked thread, so if you need further help, just ask here! Smile
