Nobody Has The Full Game
There has been all this buzz, especially on the steam forms, about a guy who supposedly streamed the whole game and beat it in about 3 hours, this is completely false. These streamers and youtubers only have access to the preview build Frictional sent out a little while ago which is literally just under a third of the whole game and the devs have stated that some mechanics are not fully implimented in that version.
The actual REVIEW copies that contain the full game with everything properly implimented probably only just went out, and Frictional wouldn't just send them to any random person who wanted to review the game, likely only the big name reviews I.E. IGN, GameSpot, Polygon, ect.
Here are a couple of preview articles, both of which confirm the preview build is only around one third of the game and is roughly 3 hours long if you breeze through it.

RE: Nobody Has The Full Game
I don't want to shun what you have said, nor put it down in any way, but do you have a source for this? As in, where the devs have stated the review copies have just gone out and that the streamer(s) have used a preview build?
Edit: Just allow me to clarify a bit more - you've made three posts similar to this one. I'm convinced the streamer(s) which have been playing the game, reviewing or otherwise are in possession of a preview build rather than a final build. Having a source which is definite from a Frictional Games representative is preferred over an account with very little posts.
Again, not trying to put you down, and I can confirm that keys were given out on the 19th, since I am aware of people who did receive some.

I do not know for sure, I said that the review copies PROBABLY just went out, and even if they were sent out a week ago, there is no way a random streamer would get access to it, only big name reviewers. As for the ladder, that is pretty common knowledge. If you go and read a couple of the preview articles like rockpapershotgun for example, they note more than once that the preview build is only 1 third of the game and roughly 3 hours long.

RE: Nobody Has The Full Game
I didn't see the streaming, but Thomas said the playtime is 10 hours long.
If the streamer was able to beat it in 3 hours, then he must be a pro speedrunner.
I am 100% sure he/she didn't have the full game.

Like I said, it is a preview build which only shows a third of the acutal game, clocking in at around 3 hours. I have found some links to help back that fact up

The main contradiction I can offer to you is that the streamer has posted and commented about the ending to the game ( Which I would heavily ask to avoid discussing if anyone does come across it at the risk of a ban.). Which we of course, can consider, but can also consider falsified information.

He more than likely made a lot of it up for attention, but it was definetly a preview copy and NOT the full game.

I would like to think so also. I'm nonetheless looking forward to it.

RE: Nobody Has The Full Game
I'm not sure mate but I am pretty sure it was the preview copy that was sent out to a limited media, and the full review copy that went out perhaps last week was sent to a larger media presence.
At this point you're simply making stuff up to fit your narrative. I have not and will not watch the stream, but based on what I've read all signs point to it being a stream of the final version. If it was merely the preview version that stream would have come out ages ago.
Edit: Whatever it is, for the lost sales attributed to this debacle, Frictional is probably going to sue their PR firm (if they didn't do it themselves) and the PR guys will in turn sue the guys who leaked it. Gonna get ugly for sure.

RE: Nobody Has The Full Game
the version the guy played was done in 7 hours.
there were like 5 ppl watching the stream and discussion that in the steam forum.
i dont mind it being 7h long, but i hate the fact that he only encountered 4 enemies entire game, which is aswell confirmed by 5 dudes watching the stream
