I know, but what is revealed through the phone calls is minimal compared to the newspaper clippings. So I'm sticking to Plot Entirely in Text.
Well it is minimal but I think contains enough stuff to stay from Plot Entirely in Text ,info in the calls still add to the plot. It informs us where are what we are doing. I also contains hints to the backstory like the condition/activity of the animatronic characters(what they do to when your caught) and introduces us The Bite Of 87 etc.

I wasn't really sure to count that,since the first game didn't had a real flashlight but overall the place runs on AA battery so yeah.
