WARNING !!! to Frictional Games : big surprise !

I was just going through Engadget's liveblog after getting back from work when I saw this. I wondered who they paid to get that...but of course, it's probably just that Amnesia happens to currently be the best selling game that is available for Mac or something.

I don't think this is a coincidence, but here's my estimate of how the discussion went:

Steve Jobs: We want you to feature something that shows the Steam app running on the Mac and will give us gaming cred.
Steam: Well, the best selling game for Mac is...
Steve: No, what's the best selling overall? We want something that doesn't highlight us as different, but something that shows us as getting the best games.
Steam: Okay. Left4Dead2 is the top seller...
Steve: Okay. That came out...last year? No, that just reminds people of the complaint that we get these games late.
Steam: Okay, well, we have The Polynomial
Steve: What's that?
Steam: It's a music rhythm casual game...
Steve: No, we want a game that will appeal to the hardcore gamers
Steam: Well, there's Amnesia.
Steve: What's that?
Steam: I'unno. It's some sort of RPG.
Steve: Fine. Feature that.

thoose people deserves the money they want to do the project they want, i mean the real project, the one they want to do but can do only if they have what they called "security financies" (or something like that).

its really unfair, it really makes me upset.

I'm on my 3rd week at my videogame programming school.
Oh my god its difficult ! Oh my god its a insane quantity of work !
But oh my god its fucking AMAAAAAAAAZING !!!!!!

when you study C language or others, here you really understand how far it's a lot of work to make a game.
and considering that, and the fact they are only 5...

I am absolutely impressed, you guys have a real talent.
