Having some troubles with sounds now. I'm building a basement level, and I'm putting in the sound effects of the prisoner whimpering. However, they don't occur as often as I'd like. Do I just need to add more of them, or do I need to script them to play more?
That's something I would like to know, too. I think it's the same as with footstep sounds. They are placed randomly in the level and a timer is set so they play for example every two minutes. Each one has another timer so you can hear some steps behind you or above you but not at the same time. But it's just a guess.
