No, there are no new updates regarding this matter, and given Frictional have not spoken of their Penumbra series in regards to development or redevelopment, I wouldn't get your hopes up. We do know Frictional are currently working on two games; we can speculate one of them is Penumbra, but they have not revealed anything in regards to reviving the series.

I'm going to close this thread given OP has not been active since replying in the thread and there's little reason to bump this thread again.
