hpl 2 editors error

I have extracted the editors into the Amnesia folder, but whenever I try to start on up it says that it cannot find the SDL.dll any fixes?

Is the file SDL.dll in the Amnesia folder? It helps to know if the issue is not having the file, or if the issue is it not being able to detect the file.

Yes the SDL.dll is in the redist file.

Make sure the editors are directly in the redist folder, next to the .dll file and not in a parent or child folder.

I put the files into the redist file, but when one of them starts the window freezes for a few seconds and stops responding.
